Hello! My name is Nicole but please call me Nikkie! I am a creative type that has been long trapped in the healthcare world. I have 12 years experience in laboratories in hospitals and urgent care centers.
Two and half years ago I was given the opportunity to be a supervisor of a lab and it has been the coolest experience. I have learned so much in this position and continue to grow, personally and professionally.
However, this position doesn't have much need for creativity and the programs we use aren't the most end-user friendly, so I've decided to try my hand and pick up a new skill set. My goal is to create end-user friendly programs for laboratories made by a professional Lab-rat with over a decade of experience in the field. With my knowledge I hope to assist in streamlining common lab workflows, that tend to get bottle-necked and cumbersome (looking at you Blood Bank).
